Lauren AlexZandria
Lauren AlexZandria is
an abstract artist whose work explores faith, memory, emotion,
and the beauty found in everyday life.
Known as a Keeper of Stories,
she approaches each painting intuitively, allowing color, movement,
and texture to guide the process.
Working primarily with
acrylics, Lauren creates expressive pieces that invite viewers
to slow down, look a little longer,
and discover something
personal-a feeling, a memory, or simply a moment of wonder.

I am currently working
on a series of surreal paintings that are delightful, challenging
and mysterious to me. I call the series Fever Dreams.
I plan to continue this
series for quite some time. Past paintings pay homage to the anonymous
artisans whose skill and care created beautiful objects to use
in their lives. Many of those objects are now museum treasures.

Artist Bio
Randiesia Fletcher, M.Ed., is a Cultural Arts Scholar, Curator,
and Master Teaching Artist whose work bridges visual art, literature,
and cultural research. Specializing in artistic anthropology and
auto-ethnographic practice, Fletcher explores cultural phenomena
through her lived experiences, transforming personal narratives
into broader reflections on social, cultural, and political realities.
?A retired veteran of
the United States Marine Corps, Fletcher later became a Tucson
Public Voices Fellowship fellow, a program led by the Women’s
Foundation for the State of Arizona and the University of Arizona
that prepares thought leaders to publish civic commentary. She
is an active Op-Ed writer whose essays and cultural commentary
have appeared in various news outlets.

Bienvenido/Welcome!
Hello and welcome! I am an image-maker, a teaching-artist, a
Mom and a committed bi-cultural world citizen. Currently living
in the Sonoran Desert community of Tucson, Arizona, I was born
and raised in the midwestern city of Chicago. I have been blessed
by a life filled with travel thanks to my inspiring and supportive
parents. As a younger woman, travels brought me to Belgium, through
Italy, Greece, France and other European countries. At age 19,
I landed in Central Mexico where I ended up 'coming of age' and
eventually living for over 20 years in one of Unesco's World Heritage
Cities, San Miguel de Allende. .As a teaching-artist, I have had
the privilege of supporting student-artists ages 3-93 on both
sides of the border for over 4 decades now.. This work is based
on a deep belief and commitment to the idea that 'Creativity is
a Birth-right. ' Every single one of us, all over the planet,
of all ages and abilities have a well-spring of creativity within
us.

BIO
Natalia has traveled extensively and lived in Paris, Italy,
Salzburg and Japan. She brings her
experiences of different cultures and civilizations into her art
as well as an understanding that
human nature transcends cultural differences. Now, she resides
in Tucson with her husband and
exhibits her works in Tucson, Scottsdale, and Los Angeles.

My work ranges from serious
"Renaissance-sque" oil painting to arcane Voo-doo like
sculpture. Both forms of expression feed the other & create
balance. I enjoy the levity of creating the Sarachini sculptures
as well as the intensity of painting complex subject matter.
Boredom would set in if I only produced the weird toothy "monsters"
(as Alexis Osorio affectionately refer to them as...) & burn
out would result if I worked exclusively on paintings.

Gerrie Young, Co-founder
of Temple Arts Collective! She’s been inspiring artists
of all ages and disciplines as an arts educator (MA) for 40 years
both internationally (Japan) and Tucson. Gerrie is a board member
of @drawingstudioaz and @womankraftartcenter. With a bachelor
degree Temple University and a master’s degree from Prescott
College in Art Education, she is a master of many art mediums:
ceramic sculpture and pottery, bronze sculpture, printmaking (wood
block, intaglio) watercolor, oil and acrylic painting.
